How to blink and fade led with arduino uno?

Hello,
Today i will show You how to make/programm fading and blinking LED using Arduino UNO.
It`s very simple and You only need a few stuff.

Ok, let`s startt. You will need:

1)Computer with Arduino programm on it,
2)Arduino UNO
3)LED
4)resistor ( i will use 680Ohm and 25Ohm)

I do not use breadboard, because i do not have it at this time.
Firstly take the resistors and twist them around one LED leg, like this:

The LED will work even with no resistor, also with 3.3V and 5V. Resistor is only meant for safety, without it You can burn Your LED or microchip, with bigger voltage. It is easy to burn a Diode but it is a lot harder to burn resistor, it will warm up, but won`t burn so easly. Also with smaller resistor LED will be brighter. We won`t build a complex schematic today, so we don`t need to calcute resistor sizes. Also there is no difference on which positive or negative lead You will twist the resistor on. There are many opinions, on which lead it is better to put resistor.

Next step is to connect LED to arduino uno. Negative lead goes to GND on Arduino Board and positive goes to pin 13 and pin 9 (because in my arduino programm i wrote that one output is pin 13 on the other one is pin 9).
How You can know which LED lead is positive and which negative?
You can tell it from the lead`s it self. The longer one is positive and the shorter one is negative.
Or You can look inside the led. The bigger side is negative and smaller one is positive.

Now You can Upload Arduino code and enjoy. Led on the pin 13 is fading and the led on pin 9 is blinking.

After i played with this i attached some other LED to Arduino. In pictures below, all LED are soldered togheter parallely so i can light them all up, and they will have the same brightness.
